Question 1

Do you charge to come look at the system?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The diagnostic is $89 during business hours and $149 after hours, and it is waived when you approve the repair on that visit. You get the number before we start.

Question 2

Can you come out today?

Accepted Answer

Most repair calls booked before 2 PM are seen the same day. Emergencies — no cooling in extreme heat, no heat in a freeze, or water from the system — are dispatched around the clock with an average arrival near 60 minutes.

Question 3

Which brands do you service?

Accepted Answer

We repair and install Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman, Daikin, and most other residential brands. We do not lock you into a single logo.

Question 4

Do you offer financing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Qualified buyers can use 0% APR for 24 months on qualifying installations, plus longer terms if you would rather keep the monthly payment lower. Approval is through our lending partner. The calculator on the pricing page uses example numbers so you can see the monthly shape before we run a real application.

Question 5

Which cities do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Irving, Frisco, McKinney, Garland, Grand Prairie, Denton, Richardson, and Carrollton. If your ZIP is on the edge, ask — we would rather say no than show up late.

Question 6

What if I smell gas?

Accepted Answer

Leave the building immediately. Do not flip switches. From outside, call 911 and your gas utility. After they clear the property, call us and we will inspect the furnace.

Question 7

Is a maintenance plan worth it?

Accepted Answer

If the system is over five years old, yes. Members get scheduled visits, a repair discount, and they move to the front of the line in July. The Comfort plan at $39 a month is the one most Dallas–Fort Worth homes pick.

Question 8

Will you just add refrigerant?

Accepted Answer

No. Refrigerant does not get consumed. If the charge is low, there is a leak. We find it, price the repair, and then recharge to the manufacturer spec.

Question 9

How do I know it is time to replace instead of repair?

Accepted Answer

We put the repair cost next to the age, the efficiency, and a replacement quote. If the repair is more than half of a new system and the unit is past 12 years, we will say so. If a $200 part gets you three more years, we will say that too.

Question 10

Do replacements include the permit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We pull the mechanical permit, schedule the inspection, and leave you the paperwork for rebates and warranties.

Question 11

Do you work with property managers?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for light commercial: offices, studios, retail, and restaurants. We can set a not-to-exceed amount and send photo reports after every visit.

Question 12

What warranty comes with the work?

Accepted Answer

Repairs are warrantied for one year on our labor. Equipment warranties follow the manufacturer, typically 10 years on parts when the system is registered. We register it.

Question 13

Do I actually need the ducts cleaned?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes. If the complaint is dust the day after you dust, we look at attic returns first. Cleaning a leaky return without sealing it just moves attic dirt faster. We camera the trunks, tell you if a cleaning is theater, and quote sealing when that is the job.

Question 14

Will a UV light or a $40 filter fix the allergies?

Accepted Answer

Usually not by themselves. We measure humidity and how air is leaking into the return, then pick a media cabinet, a dehumidifier, or ventilation. Gadgets without a number are a catalog, not a plan.

Question 15

What SEER2 should I buy?

Accepted Answer

The sticker only holds if the coil, line set, and ducts match. We size from a Manual J, then show good / better / best with SEER2, HSPF2 or AFUE, and a monthly number. A 16 SEER2 that is commissioned beats an 18 that is overcharged and undersized.

Question 16

Can you install a Nest or an ecobee?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Smart thermostat installs start at $249 including the teaching in the kitchen. On heat pumps we set auxiliary lockout so strip heat is not the default. If the C-wire is missing, we say so before we drill.

Question 17

What happens if I call after 7 PM?

Accepted Answer

Aria or a live dispatcher answers. Emergencies — no cooling in extreme heat, no heat in a freeze, water from the system, or a gas smell after the utility clears the house — get an on-call tech. Everyone else gets a next-day window by text. You will not sit in a voicemail maze.

Question 18

I called and hung up. Will you call back?

Accepted Answer

You should get a text within a minute: who we are, a link to finish in chat, and the shop number. That missed-call text-back is how after-hours rings do not disappear. If it is unsafe, call 911 first, then us.

Question 19

How do I know the appointment is real?

Accepted Answer

Every booked visit sends an SMS with the window and an email with the address we have on file. Dispatch follows up if you do not reply. Same pattern for estimates — a call hold on the calendar, not a maybe.

The questions dispatch hears every day.
